Anthony Bekker, the Founder and MD of Biztech Lawyers is not a 'typical' lawyer. He has an MBA and a diverse background that makes his business uniquely positioned to understand the complex needs of technology businesses that are 'global from day one'. Anthony had a really clear vision for his business and his brand right from the beginning. He'd made sketches on paper of the decision tree concept that he wanted to use, and we collaborated closely to bring his vision to life in a usable and scaleable way that would position his business in the same 'global from day one', high-growth mould as the future clients he and the team would be helping.

Logo repair to fix a freelancer fail

Anthony first came to me on a referral from a mutual connection in the Sydney Startup Hub when he needed an urgent fix to a freelancer fail. The freelancer they had hired delivered a logo that partly fulfilled Anthony's vision but was lacking both a professional look and adequate design files for use 'in the wild'.

I took the files he had and tidied them up using our Clever Day service. I started by using a more professional typeface and customising the lettering to create a unique look for the brand. The resulting logo followed the concept of the original but was brought to life by an experienced touch and a thorough understanding of branding parameters to agency standards. This gave the team logos they could use wherever they needed them.

The website need to carve out the services this new business was offering and to connect them to its audience in a way that made them instantly recognisable as a part of the technology community and a business that deeply understands the challenges and opportunities high-growth tech businesses are navigating. As such, the look and feel of the website needed to ‘speak tech’ and stand out deliberately as ‘not your typical law firm’.

We used our tried and tested clever website framework to build the Biztech website to high technical standards, while using low-cost and easy solutions to align with the startup phase of the business and their budget. The result is a website that was able to go live with the credibility it needed to grow, with foundations that have been easy to build on over the years as the business has well and truly grown up beyond the startup phase.
